Vrbo is using a famous voice for its Super Bowl effort,
which focuses on togetherness.
The 60-second “A Place for Together” is set to the nostalgic tune “Right Where I
Belong” sung by Kermit the frog. It will make its U.S. broadcast debut during the pregame show and during halftime in Canada.
This is also the first ad Expedia Group’s
vacation rental brand has created with its new agency partner Wieden+Kennedy. Crispin Porter + Bogusky was the brand's previous AOR.
Creative showcases many definitions of “family” because Vrbo believes family isn’t limited to people you’re related to – it’s the people you love
spending time with, says Hector Muelas, senior vice president of global creative for Expedia Group.

Scenes include multiple generations sharing a meal around the dinner table, old
friends floating in the pool, and young cousins embracing as they say goodbye after a fun family vacation.
“When traveling with Vrbo, who you’re with matters
just as much as where you go,” Muelas says in a release.
The brand is running its first official TikTok challenge from Feb. 12-19. Three winners will receive $5,000 Vrbo
vacations.
To enter, users are asked to post a TikTok video of themselves surrounded by their favorite people, using the hashtag #AVrboforTogether. Consumers can follow @Vrbo on TikTok for more details.
