Virgin Voyages, a new entrant in the luxury cruise line business and part of the Richard Branson-led Virgin group of companies, has named two Omnicom agencies to lead its media-related marketing efforts across the UK and North America.
Hearts & Science has been appointed to service the UK while the cruise line has tapped OMG Resolution for an assignment covering North America.
Media efforts will focus on a multiscreen touchpoint strategy with TV, performance and digital, including pay-per-click, organic and paid social and digital display. The adults-only brand is targeting what it calls a “younger and more adventurous audience.”

This will help us at the top of the funnel to communicate Virgin Voyages as a relaxed-luxe, come-as-you-are, adults-only Voyage experience for travelers looking for a fun holiday experience.”
