Retail tech firm Bluecore has expanded its C-suite team, promoting Sherene Hilal to chief product officer and Ryan Deutsch as chief customer officer. In addition, Arvind Krishnan has been named as senior vice president of engineering.

The firm seeks “leadership that understands data, personalization and scale, specifically as they relate to commerce,” states Fayez Mohamood, CEO of Bluecore.

Hilal, who joined Bluecore in 2018 from Oracle Data Cloud, will lead the transformation from product suite to shopper-first platform.

Deutsch -- who was most recently at Persado, a leading personalization and customer relationship management platform -- will work with Bluecore’s 400+ retail customers to increase identification, first purchase and repeat purchase rates.

Krishnan joins Bluecore after a 14-year tenure at Salesforce, where he led the engineering of the Einstein Bot platform and the company’s digital engagement platform.
