Discover Vail is out with a dream-like new ad from agency Cactus that positions the resort town as a year-round wonderland. It made its debut Sunday night during the Oscar’s telecast on ABC.

The spot, titled, “Life Is But A Dream,” opens with an elegantly dressed couple framed within the terrace that overlooks the picturesque mountains of Vail. As their hands touch, they leave their feet (in dream-like fashion) and are whisked on a wondrous aerial tour, replete with breathtaking drone shots of lush forests, crystal clear lakes and the Bavarian-inspired architecture that comprises much of Vail.

According to the agency, the ad “leans into Vail’s heritage and uses the metaphor for how you feel when you’re here to tell the story of Vail as a dream-like experience.”
