Yahoo has named Tapan Bhat as president and general manager of Yahoo Finance, the news outlet and business network. 

Bhat most recently advised startups and their boards. Previously, he served as chief product officer at NerdWallet and as chief product officer at Realtor.com, and has held senior titles at Adobe and Intuit.   

In addition, Bhat spend five years at Yahoo as senior vice president of consumer. “Coming back to Yahoo after all these years is exciting because it’s a completely new company,” Bhat says.

Bhat hopes to help Yahoo “develop new products and services that will shape the future of consumer finance and investing.”
