Great Clips Enlists Drew Brees To Help Empower Dads

With the help of Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees, Great Clips is empowering dads with the confidence to help their kids get ready for the first day of school.

The pandemic has played a big role in redefining the “job” of the dad, says Lisa Hake, vice president of marketing and communications at Great Clips, Inc.

“As many dads have spent more time at home over the past two years, they’ve re-evaluated their work-life balance and have formed tighter connections with their kids,” Hake says in a release. “More and more, dads see parenting as a key part of their identity, so we wanted to support them as they head into the back-to-school season.”

Brees, who has four children, joined with social influencer dads and families for the salon brand’s effort.

In “Dad’s Back-to-School Playbook” Brees breaks down film of an everyday dad going through various back-to-school self-care activities with his kids such as building confidence and proper nutrition.

The video also stars Drew’s three sons – Baylen, 13, Bowen, 11,  and Callen, 9 – getting back-to-school haircuts as Drew talks about how easy and convenient haircuts are with Great Clips thanks to services like online check-in.

Popular influencer dads and families, such as Dumb Dads, the Busby FamilyThe Bramfam and Burton B. Buffaloe, are also sharing content with their fans showing how they get ready for the new school year by going to Great Clips.
