Giant Spoon, known for its creative media
offering, is expanding its capabilities in performance media, and advanced data and analytics. And it has hired Omnicom alum Darrell Jursa to oversee the effort in the new role of executive vice
president, platforms and data.
According to the agency Jursa will work with clients such as MassMutual, GE, and the New York Mets to develop and execute performance media and data
strategies to connect the user journey and ensure brand impressions are made and accounted for regardless of consumer entry point.
Laura Correnti, Partner at Giant Spoon said the
agency’s expanded focus on platforms and data is “a necessary next step to supercharge our industry-leading creative media capabilities.”
And Jursa has the credentials
to make it happen, she added. He brings over two decades of industry experience to Giant Spoon and has designed and scaled platform and data solutions for Omnicom, The Coca-Cola Co,, Interpublic, AB
InBev and IRI Worldwide.

He was with Omnicom for over eight years, lastly serving as managing director, digital transformation, Omnicom Commerce Group.
After leaving
Omnicom in 2019 he joined IRI as vice president, global media enablement, where he served until joining Giant Spoon this month.
“This is a new media market, where instinct,
connection and experiences are just as important for clients looking to make an impression as data and platforms are for buying them,” says Jursa. “I’m excited to wear my agency and
advertiser hats to help build new solutions for clients that drive capabilities, competencies and growth.”
