Fogaca Joins Dentsu Creative As U.S. CEO

Paulo Fogaca has been appointed U.S. CEO of Dentsu Creative, succeeding Jon Dupuis who was elevated to global clients president in October. 

Dentsu said his “immediate remit” is to “crystalize Dentsu Creative’s vision, strategy and positioning for the U.S.” 

Fogaca previously served at creative agency Gut, where he was global Chief Operating Officer and managing partner for nearly three years. He was responsible for running agency operations across its five offices in Miami, Toronto, Mexico, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. Earlier he served as lead architect and global COO at David, overseeing offices in Miami, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. 

He reports to Global Chief Creative Officer Fred Levon and Dentsu Americas CEO and Chief Global Client Officer Jacki Kelley and will work with Abbey Klaassen, President of Dentsu Creative’s New York hub and Laurel Flatt, President of the Chicago hub.

The appointment follows Dentsu’s shift to a unified global management team last month

The company also said that Pedro Perez and Rafa (Rafael) Rizuto recently joined the creative operation with Perez tapped as CCO for Chicago and Rizuto CCO for the U.S. + Hispanic LATAM.
