Crowley Webb Wins AOR Duties For Regional AAA Group

Buffalo, NY-based agency Crowley Webb has been appointed the first-ever agency of record for AAA (American Automobile Association) Western and Central New York (WCNY).  The agency and client have worked together previously on various projects.

That regional AAA branch is upstate New York’s largest member organization providing over 887,000 AAA members across Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse with travel-, insurance-, financial- and automotive-related services.

The agency said its remit includes account service, brand strategy, creative, media, analytics and public relations.

The agency is working on a new brand campaign that is scheduled to appear in early 2023, which will “elevate the new AAA WCNY brand position, tagline and updated brand elements.”

In 2021, Crowley Webb developed AAA WCNY’s “It’s Like Calling Dad” campaign, for radio and online video. The agency relaunched the campaign this year with a holiday theme. In addition, the agency has worked on general brand awareness efforts and perceptions research for the client’s membership services.

Founded in 1986, Crowley Webb currently has more than 140 employees servicing 55 clients, including M&T Bank, Arrow Fastener, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, ESAB and Evergreen Health. The agency’s revenue reached $46 million in 2021.
