NHS Campaign Directs People To Site, Speeds Up Medical Attention

National Health Service in England has launched a new multichannel campaign to encourage people to use its 111 online service.

The move is part of its ongoing “Help Us, Help You” strategy. The cross-media campaign is now running on video-on-demand, out-of-home and social channels.

The creative is by M&C Saatchi London.

The new campaign aims to drive more people to use NHS 111 when they have an urgent but non-life-threatening medical concern.

The work helps educate people on how to use the service, along with explaining the triage process it provides to get callers the help they need. The idea is that every click on the 111 site brings someone closer to medical care.

A specially created music track, “Care For You,” augments the campaign.

Wavemaker handled media planning, while OMD executed media buying.

Guy Bradbury, creative partner, M&C Saatchi London, said: “The 111 online service is incredibly simple and easy to use. And helps get those who are feeling unwell to the help they need. To bring this to life we wanted to show just how quickly the online triage service works. Whisking people to the right help with just a few simple steps and lots of warmth.”
