Cecere Buys Remaining Stake In Little & Co.

Minneapolis-based design-led brand agency Little & Company has been sold to agency co-owner and award-winning designer Joe Cecere.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Monica Little, the founder, said: “I have some very dearly held ideas about how you run a company, treat people, and give back to the community. Joe shares all of those feelings, and I’m delighted to sell my company to an employee that has helped grow the company to what it is today.”

Little & Company was formed in 1979.

Cecere has been with the agency for 20 years, joining first as a vice president/creative director. He has worked on various client lists, including General Mills, PepsiCo, Lagunitas Brewing Company and Pacific Foods.

"As a design-led branding firm, we have done a lot of amazing work for iconic brands over the agency’s 43 years, but I think we’re coming to a time where a brand's connection to its audience is more important than ever. We will still lead from a core of great design thinking, but will need to expand that thinking in more places, such as digital, motion, experiential and more," new CEO Cecere told Agency Daily. "Design is more than a logo or a package; it’s the culmination of every experience a consumer has with a brand."
