Lyonne Riffs On Super Bowl Ads In New Spot

Peacock “Poker Face” star Natasha Lyonne riffs on her TV character in a new promo spot airing in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl.

Lyonne stars as Charlie Cale, her TV character, who has an unerring ability to spot a lie. In the new ad, she’s sitting at a bar, talking to a patron. He quizzes her about the veracity of the Big Game ads, which she is able to answer.

The ad was directed by Dan Opsal of Hungry Man in partnership with Peacock.

Created by Rian Johnson (“Knives Out”), the “Poker Face” premise has Lyonne solving a different, intriguing mystery each week. The 10-episode series, which she also executive produces, debuted in late January.

Lyonne is also known for her role in "Orange is the New Black" and  “Russian Doll” on Netflix.
