Ogilvy New York Selects Price As President, De Blois Upped To COO Ogilvy North America

Ogilvy just announced some major changes in its executive suite.

Darla Price has been named president of Ogilvy New York, while Carina De Blois was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Ogilvy North America. De Blois was previously president of Ogilvy New York.

Both will report directly to Devika Bulchandani, Global CEO of Ogilvy. 

Bulchandani called Price's "ability to move clients, creativity, and culture forward is unparalleled."

Price has over two decades of industry experience, including with clients such as Microsoft, Kroger, Olay, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin and General Mills. She made history In 2021, she became the first Black female President of DDB New York.

Prior to joining DDB, Price spent seven years in executive roles at McCann, including as a global lead for its Microsoft business, where the brand won Clio Advertiser of the Year. She also served as president of McCann’s San Francisco office 215 McCann, where she was responsible for the Xbox brand.

De Blois has worked with some of the most iconic companies in the world — including IBM, J&J, Facebook, and Samsung. Prior to her current role, Carina served as Chief Client Officer for New York. She joined Ogilvy in 2013 as a global client lead for IBM where she helped modernize their brand with first-of-its-kind marketing with Watson and AI.
