Sendinblue Rebrands, Reflecting Expanded CRM Offering

The digital marketing platform Sendinblue has rebranded itself and is now called Brevo.  

The name was chosen because it conveys “positivity and encouragement,” says Armand Thiberge, founder and CEO.

It also reflects what the company calls its evolution to a full CRM suite, encompassing SMS, WhatsApp, and chat. Today, only 31% of Brevo’s customers are solely focused on sending newsletters, the firm’s original offering. 

“The pace of digital marketing and consumer behavior has required that we innovate and evolve to empower businesses to grow even during challenging cycles,” Thiberge says. 

Last July, a survey showed that 36% of U.S. respondents preferred that their email platform also provide customer communications in other channels. 

Brevo’s suite will keep clients in compliance with GDPR, the company says.
