Consumers are being warned about a fake Sam’s Club email that purports to be conducting a survey. 

The email promises a gift card or promo reward worth $50 or $90 for anyone taking the short survey. But the unsolicited email is not from Sam’s Club, Snopes reports.

And consumers who click on the survey link find themselves being charged monthly fees for “strange subscriptions,” according to Snopes. 

The email address ended in @sendinblue.com and was routed at sightbanner.com.

A real Sam’s Club’s email would have an address ending in @samsclub.com. 

Those who took the “survey” were offered supposedly free products, but had to pay shipping and handling, Snopes says. 

Among the free products were “a RoboKleen Vacuum, iPad Pro, Everclean Portable Vacuum, Hi-Tech Wireless Ear Pods, 5.3K60 Sports Action Cam, Hair Halo Sonic Blow Dryer, Ring Video Doorbell, and a Ninja NeverDull Knife Set,” Snopes adds.
