Joe Benarroch, executive vice president-communications at NBCUniversal Global Advertising and Partnerships, is following his former boss Linda Yaccarino to Twitter.

Yaccarino, formerly Chairman of Global Advertising and Partnerships, recently became CEO of the social media platform controlled by Elon Musk.

Benarroch, a long-time agency exec at Leo Burnett, Starcom and Interpublic before jumping to the media side, also served as director of communications at Facebook before joining NBCU in 2018.

Benarroch did not disclose what his new title will be at Twitter, but said it will be a "role focusing on business operations."

"I am looking forward to bringing my experience to Twitter, and to working with the entire team to build Twitter 2.0 together," he said.
