Havas has acquired PivotRoot, an integrated digital marketing
and MarTech agency in India.
The French buyer will incorporate the agency into Havas Media India.
The 7-year-old PivotRoots has done work for various brands,
including Disney, Amazon Prime Video, Hindustan Unilever and MSD Pharma.
The buy gives Havas Media India, which has recorded key growth in the past few years, access to
PivotRoots’ deep connections in the Indian market. It also enhance Havas Media's capabilities in digital advertising in a critical ad market.

Chairman of Vivendi-Chairman-CEO of Havas, said: “The acquisition is part of our broader strategy to expand our presence in lighthouse markets around the world."
India’s ad revenue is
expected to grow by 12% to $17.3 billion in 2023, according to a report by ad agency GroupM. That number is forecast to rise to 13.6% next year.
The global Havas is comprised of
three key units: Havas Creative Network, Havas Media Network and Havas Health & You. Havas became part of Vivendi in late 2017.
