Tata Consultancy Services, part of Mumbai-based Tata Group, has appointed Andrew Essex senior managing partner with a remit to expand the firm’s TCS Interactive division that develops products and services for data-driven marketers with a specific focus on CMOs. 

Essex is the former CEO of Droga5, a post he held from 2006 to 2015. (Droga5 was acquired by Accenture in 2019). He later joined Tribeca Enterprises, parent company of the Tribeca Film Festival as CEO. 

He is currently an advisor to Glasswing Ventures, a fund focused on artificial intelligence, enterprise SAAS and cybersecurity platforms and a board member of the Mobile Marketing Association. 

Tata Consultancy Services has over 614,000 people in 55 countries and generated revenues in its fiscal year ended March 2023 of $27.9 billion.
