The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) this morning named Amanda Richman executive-in-residence and appointed Horizon Media's Piya Mehra chief of staff of the trade association.

Richman, who most recently was CEO of GroupM's Mindshare, stepped down unexpectedly from that role in March, with no explanation given.

Richman, who previously served as CEO of GroupM's Wavemaker, and held a variety of senior positions at Publicis, Interpublic and other organizations, is only the second woman to serve as an IAB executive-in-residence and is the first ever to come directly from a major agency.

Mehra, who was brand group director at Horizon Media, reports to CEO David Cohen.
