Duracell Assigns BBH Creative Duties

Duracell named BBH as its new creative agency in the U.S. It will also handle brand strategy.

The company manufactures alkaline batteries, specialty cells, rechargeables and smart power systems.

The assignment was won after a competitive review. Wieden+Kennedy previously serviced the account, but did not defend, ending its relationship with the client earlier in the year.

In addition, Vayner Media is in charge of social marketing.

COMvergence reported Duracell's marketing spend in 2022 was $60 million. A little less than half that amount targeted digital media.

BBH is a Publicis-owned agency.
