Paramount+ To Drop New Ads For NFL's Wild Card, Super Bowl

Paramount+ is dropping two new ads — one debuting Jan. 14, during the CBS Wild Card Game, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills, and another during Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.

The creative work is by the Droga5 agency, which continues the streamer's "A Mountain of Entertainment" brand campaign.
The Jan. 14 spot is a mix of real-life people and Deception Scourge from "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts."

Scourge thinks he can throw a football farther than Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Both are joined by characters from Paramount+ titles, such as Dora, from "Dora the Explorer," and Peppa Pig. CBS announcers Tracy Wolfson, Jim Nantzand Tony Romo also weigh in on Scourge’s failed attempts to compete.

"A Mountain of Entertainment" campaign, which has run for four years, capitalizes on the Paramount imagery: a majestic mountain. The work has won numerous awards, including Clios and One Show.
