If pictures are worth a thousand words, I'm hoping a dozen screenshots of trending stories from the current news cycle are worth something more. Especially if they're plotted on a grid based on the relative truth and velocity.
If you like this format, I'll continue compiling them every week or so, depending on the momentum of the presidential campaign news cycle.
I'm starting by applying my own value judgement of what's ebbing or flowing, what's meaningful, and how relatively truthy they are. But if you'd like to submit anything, just email me at joe@mediapost.com and please add the hashtag #cycling and I'll do my best to incorporate it.
Based on this week's analysis, Trump continues to dominate the news cycle -- although not necessarily for the right reasons -- while President Joe Biden has had some nice hits on base (ie. the U.S. economy, calling the GOP out for bowing to Trump and scuttling the border deal, etc.), but for self-apparent reasons, they don't sustain media attention.

That said, Biden once again is dominating presidential campaign articles readership, according to the most recent week's analysis by Memo.
And it's not odd that there's explanation next to Trump and Haley informing us what the news is about, but nothign for Biden? No mention of when Hunter is in trouble with ties to his father, no mention of Biden's document case, no mention of all-time records being shattered at the border, no mention of when he totally forgets his speech or needs help to find his way off stage, and no mention of Biden's damning special counsel report...we should just assume that all of this press is positive for Biden?
So the insinuation, as usual, is democrats are only doing good things and republicans are only doing bad things.
Fair and balanced as usual!
