Benitez, who grew up in Argentina and Puerto Rico, is a 15-year-plus industry veteran. She previously served at The Community, McCann, KBS and BBDO.

Sojka credited Benitez with improving agency operations: “She’s streamlined integration between divisions, driven new business and led client services,” he stated.

Benitez also leads Madwell’s DEI initiatives. She created the agency’s DEI Panel, which reviews all work that goes through the agency from strategy briefs to concepts to scripts, casting and rough cuts.

Other DEI initiatives include a BLAC program partnership to provide internship opportunities for people of color, an ongoing relationship with Verizon AdFellows, and an internship program.
