Fresca Mixes It Up With Andy Cohen With RTD Happy Hour

If you’re going to throw a happy hour party, you could do a lot worse for a host than Andy Cohen, known for his late-night show “Watch What Happens Live” where celeb guests get served cocktails from a fully stocked bar.

Ready-to-drink cocktail line Fresca Mixed teamed up with the longtime Bravo host for its latest campaign.

Fresca Mixed launched back in 2022 as a partnership between Coca-Cola -- which owns the soft drink brand -- and Constellation Brands, which produces, distributes, and markets the canned cocktail brand incorporating the flavor of Fresca into Vodka Spritz and Tequila Paloma varieties.

“Join The Club” kicks off with an invitation to consumers 21 and older to join Fresca Mixed’s take on the country club for a chance to attend a May 23 Fresca Mixed happy hour event in New York City hosted by Cohen. Those interested can sign up by sharing their email via the brand’s website, which will act as an “RSVP” to the “Put It On Andy's Tab" event and an entry to the weekly promotional sweepstakes, with one weekly grand prize of $1,000 toward another club membership (“from pickleball to country club”), of their choice. Those who sign up for the “club” will also receive early notifications about new Fresca Mixed events and perks rolling out throughout the year.

Before the release of the canned cocktail line, Cohen counted a “Fresquila” among his favorite cocktails, sharing his simple process for making the drink with the publication Delish in 2017: “a little Fresca, and a little tequila — okay, maybe more than a little.”

The campaign coincides with the launch of the Fresca Mixed Variety Pack Act II, with four new Vodka Spritz flavors: Black Cherry, Orange, Peach Citrus, and Watermelon. All Fresca Mixed varieties are promoted as containing 5% ABV and 100 calories per 12-ounce can, and containing no added sugar.

“As the number one FrescaMixed fan, I’ve been the unofficial founding member of the Fresca Mixed Club for years now,” Cohen said in a statement, calling it “the best-kept secret in the cocktail game.”
