“Just Add Cran” is the new tagline for the latest Ocean Spray Cranberries brand campaign. It will be part of all future creative efforts.
Three new spots, by Orchard Creative, run from June 10 through August 4, utilizing online video, display banner and social media. The work centers on the new Zero Sugar Cranberry Juice Drink, Craisins and the brand’s line-up of can-juice blends.
The ads are "Diner," "Dating" and "Video Call."
All feature a new character, Johnny, a shout-out to the two farmers who appeared in the brand’s ads from 2008-2018. The cranberry bogs, Ocean’s Spray signature asset, appears in real-life settings, but in a whimsical fashion.

“We had a somewhat complex brief, in that we needed to create both an umbrella campaign for Ocean Spray as a brand, while also ensuring the larger idea
could apply to creative executions aimed at existing products in their lineup and new products needing to be introduced,” Conor Dooley, creative director, Orchard Creative, told Agency
Daily. “After much digging,
'Just Add Cran' emerged as the perfect vehicle.”
Ocean Spray was founded in 1930 by three farmers. Since then, the company has transformed into a global agricultural cooperative of 700 family farmers in the U.S., Canada and Chile.
Ocean Spray’s products are available in 100 countries.
