The America’s Cup international sailing competition is being held in Barcelona for the first time – from August 22-October 20 – and Havas has been tapped to lead a national campaign to promote the event in Spain.
The Havas companies involved in the campaign include Havas Creative, experiential shop Havas Play, media agency Arena, and PR firm Tinkle.

The campaign will run across television, print, and digital platforms. It kicked off in late May and will run through the end of the competition.
Louis Vuitton is the title sponsor of this year’s competition.
Havas is working with CA Sports Marketing to develop sponsorships. Focusing on companies with a presence in Spain, agreements have been signed with entities such as Puig, which sponsors the women’s competition.
Global Partners include auto brand Cupra (part of Volkswagen Group) and Coca-Cola, and official suppliers of the competition include Spanish skincare company ISDIN, among others.
