Droga5 Taps Jeger, Varvara As ECDs

Creative agency Droga5 has hired two new executive creative directors — Mariano Jeger and Lauren Varvara — for its New York office.

The duo reports to Droga5’s CCO Scott Bell. Jeger and Varvara will work across the agency's client roster, including J.P. Morgan Chase, Molson Coors and Huggies.

Varvara joins Droga5 after six years at Saatchi & Saatchi, creatively leading the Tide account as ECD. She called working at D5 “checking a major box in my career bucket list." She has also worked at Grey, kbs+ and BBDO.

Jeger recently served as executive creative director at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Apple’s creative agency. Prior to that, he spent a decade at R/GA as VP/Chief Creative Officer, overseeing the creative, content studio and strategy Departments in Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile and leading projects across LATAM.

Droga5, which has also done work for Paramount+ and The New York Times, recently won its first Emmy alongside Accenture Song  for the campaign "Battle of the Baddest: Rumble."
