Ticket to Dream stands as the centerpiece of Air Canada’s wider Olympic and Paralympic campaign, which will champion Team Canada's pursuit of glory this summer and unite Canadian fans in Paris and at home, through activations that the company says share “the best of Canada with the world.”

"We're immensely proud to honor Team Canada's athletes, whose relentless spirit and drive in pursuing their dreams is truly inspirational," says Andy Shibata, Vice President, Brand at Air Canada. "Our Ticket to Dream spot brings together the drama and emotion of that journey while paying homage to the resilience of both our athletes and many Canadians, inspiring all of us ahead of the world’s most prestigious sporting event.”

The spot follows two Canadian journeys across time: a young couple moving to Canada in search of a brighter future and an athlete determined to achieve her Olympic dreams. The creative captures their shared resilience as they overcome obstacles to realize their dreams. The two narratives run in parallel before coming together to reveal an unexpected twist.

“Starting over in a new country requires hard work, determination and strength—the very same qualities needed to become an Olympian or Paralympian,” said Jeremiah McNama, Executive Creative Director, FCB Toronto. “Both travel and the Games are about pursuing dreams, and through this spot we’re showcasing Air Canada’s role in both of those journeys.”

FCB Canada developed strategy and creative, with production led by Scouts Honour and directed by Kevin Foley.

Ticket to Dream will run in 30-, 60- and 90-second versions on television during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The 90-second spot will run in cinemas between July 26 and August 11, 2024. All formats, as well as a two-and-a-half-minute and a 15-second format will stream online and on social media. Canadians can also catch them at the airport, in-flight and at Canada Olympic House, Paris.

Air Canada is Team Canada's Official Airline for the next four Olympic and Paralympic Games, including Paris 2024.
