Two tech firms are teaming up to help email marketers
reach the inbox: Phonexa, a performance marketing software company, and SMTP, an email service provider.
The arrangement combines SMTP's email delivery tools, and Phonexa's marketing
automation platform. The plan is to help marketers “deploy emails with greater efficiency and reliability," says Jeffrey Schaffer, COO of Phonexa.
The announcement was made on
Sunday during the MailCon conference in New York.
Phonexa allows high-volume email senders to choose from multiple ESPs, it says. It provides an email and SMS tool called
E-Delivery, which is built on automation, integration and enhanced deliverability, and SMTP is now a preferred email service provider.
For its part, SMTP has made
“investments in our technology for the sole purpose of supporting the scalability and deliverability needs of performance marketers,” says Alaa Gedeon, senior vice president of revenue for
SMTP.
