The fitness industry has become more creative in recent years, with classes like goat yoga, sand workouts, adult dodgeball and foot golf. But your next class may have you buzzing from more than just increased endorphins.
Lalo Tequila, a Mexican-owned tequila brand, has teamed up with Barry’s, the fitness brand best known for its boot camp and other high-intensity classes. Lalo will serve as the exclusive tequila for Barry’s.
The brands share a common philosophy, per the announcement.
"Lalo prides itself on being a clean, three-ingredient tequila that you can feel good about drinking, and we believe our brand ethos will really resonate with the Barry's clients who work hard and play hard,” said David "R" Carballido, co-founder and chief brand officer of Lalo Spirits, in a release.

So will shots be included with your Barry’s workout? Maybe.
The integrated partnership will consist of such activations as nationwide Barry’s-owned destination Lalo pop-ups. The tequila brand will also sponsor complimentary classes and produce exclusive branded merchandise. Lalo will hold tequila tastings of specialty cocktails at Barry’s nearly 100 studios and at affiliated special community events across the country in cities such as New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.
"Barry's has always believed in balancing working hard and having fun, so we're very excited to be partnering with a premium brand like Lalo that brings people together through their purely crafted tequila," said Joey Gonzalez, global CEO of Barry's.
The family-operated Lalo produces a premium additive-free tequila blanco from mature Highland agave in Jalisco, Mexico.
