Kamala Harris entered the presidential
race with huge momentum. Her fundraising has been astounding — she began August with $377 million in campaign coffers.
Over the next three weeks, to ensure voters know who she is and her striking contrast to GOP challenger Donald Trump, she's kicking off a $90 million ad push, reports the AP.
The ad buys target seven battleground states — Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Harris' team is hoping for a Blue Wave in November. Some spots will appear on “Big Brother,” “The Daily Show,” “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and “The Simpsons.”
There are also billboards placed in these states.
The new ads will center on Harris' personal story, career as a prosecutor and her opposition to what she terms Trump's “dangerous, extreme agenda.”

At the same time, the GOP is airing ads blasting Harris — with $83.6 million in ad spend planned.
A major issue for both parties is the economy — and there has been, according to one poll, a slight shift toward Harris.
Conducted for the Financial Times and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business between August 1 and 5, the poll found 42% of Americans trusted Harris more to handle the economy, regardless of how they would vote. Conversely, 41% believed Trump could handle the country's economy better.
The presidential election is November 5.
