Mike's Hard Lemonade Aims To Bust 'That Job Is Easier Than Mine" Myths

Everyone -- from the fast-food worker on a night shift to the CEO running a global corporation -- thinks their job is hard.

Mike’s Hard Lemonade's recent June survey of 1,180 adults ages 21+  found “the majority of employed Americans (52%) describe their jobs as harder than other professions.” Inspired by the findings, the boozy bottled lemonade has created a unique NYC interactive pop-up “to show how hard days, in any job, deserve a … Mike's Hard Lemonade,” per the brand’s release.

“Mike’s Jobstacle Course,” taking place on Aug. 20 and hosted by Emmy-nominated actor Lamorne Morris of FX’s “Fargo,” will provide visitors the opportunity to see what working is actually like for the other guy. Those participating in the Course will have a chance to try out various gigs typically considered easy, such as weather reporting, bookseller and candy taste tester. Apparently the jobs aren’t as simple as they appear, and hilarity is sure to ensue.

"Mike's is about celebrating the hard work and dedication of consumers who give their all every day, and they deserve to be rewarded” – especially “as Labor’s Day approaches,” said Kevin Brady, of marketing for Mike's Hard Lemonade, in the announcement.

Those who complete the Course will receive snacks and Mike’s Hard Lemonade, along with such Mike Hard Days Rewards branded merchandise as T-shirts, hats, jackets, blankets and coolers.

To sign up, customers can visit https://mikesjobstaclecourse.eventbrite.com or follow @MikesHardLemonade on Instagram and Facebook, where the brand is promoting the activation.

The Mike's Jobstacle Course is an extension of the brand’s “Hard Days Deserve a Hard Lemonade” campaign that launched earlier this summer.
