Woods has named Greer Pearce as Chief Strategy Officer.
Pearce joins the Portland, Maine-based shop from Amp Agency in Boston, where she served as senior vice president, brand & innovation. Her portfolio included Starbucks, Zillow, Netflix, Nestle, and Chiquita.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Pearce will drive WFTW’s growth initiatives and oversee strategy, planning and insights for the agency’s roster.
"Six years in, we’re really hitting our stride,” said Meranne Behrends, co-founder-CEO of WFTW. "We've got this electric creative energy, and our team is thriving. To keep this momentum going, we needed someone who fits into our culture and be a strategic compass as we grow. That's where Greer comes in.”
WFTW was founded by Wieden+Kennedy alumni, Luke and Meranne Behrends, a husband-and-wife team, in 2018. Since then, WFTW has worked with Clarks, Colonial Life Insurance, Merrell, The Nature Conservancy, Stio and MaineHealth. In June, the agency moved into a new 4,500-square-foot office in downtown Portland.
“With the agency growing at this pace, it feels like the perfect time to jump in and help take things to the next level,” said Pearce.
