
Email marketers trying to keep track of rendering
issues, broken elements and email infrastructure settings have new tools at hand.
Litmus announced updates to its Litmus Email Guardian product during its
Litmus Live 2024 event. And it has enhanced its Animated Video and Image Carousels in Litmus Personalize products.
The goal is to help marketers “optimize every
send, save time and money and, ultimately, drive better results,” says Erik Nierenberg, CEO of Litmus.
That entails addressing key
problems.
For one, emails see an average deliverability rate of 83.1%, meaning one in six emails never makes it to the inbox.
In addition, over 90%
of email recipients want more video marketing content, Litmus says. And 54% of email subscribers like video.

"In today's complex email landscape, marketers historically have had to
juggle multiple technologies to create exceptional emails to reach the inbox and resonate with subscribers," Nierenberg says.
Litmus has also toned up these offerings:
- Litmus Extension in Google Chrome — users can switch back and forth between tools, while adding personalization elements across Salesforce Marketing
Cloud, Oracle Eloqua, Adobe, Mailchimp, Marketo, Klaviyo and other platforms.
- Scratch-Offs, featuring customization options for
scratch-off and reveal images and landing pages.
- Template Organization, featuring folders for templates created in Litmus Personalize
Pro.
Litmus also says its Sender Authentication alerts users to deliverability issues while ensuring that their emails meet Google and Yahoo sender requirements.
