Grubhub, Amazon Drivers Get Friendly In New Campaign

 

Grubhub and Amazon have launched a new campaign, “Delivery’s Other Half,” designed to raise awareness that Amazon Prime members can get a free Grubhub+ membership.  

The launch of campaign marks the latest evolution of Grubhub and Amazon’s growing collaboration following free Grubhub+ membership becoming an ongoing offer for all Prime members in the U.S. As long as customers remain Prime members, they can enjoy free ongoing Grubhub+, worth $120 a year, without automatically renewing into a paid membership.

The new campaign’s creative, from the Grubhub in house marketing team, tells the story of a budding friendship between Amazon and Grubhub delivery drivers as they run into each other time and time again, thanks to more Prime members enjoying $0 delivery fees on Grubhub.  

The campaign is running throughout the year across digital TV platforms, digital audio and social media. It will run across over 180 CTV channels including Hulu, Apple TV, Amazon and more. Programmatic online video sites include ESPN, Buzzfeed and more; programmatic audio includes Pandora, Spotify and Amazon Audio.  

Interpublic media agency UM is handling media planning and buying for the campaign.
