Columbus, Ohio-based The Shipyard has won brand AOR duties for San Diego Regional Airport Authority. The remit includes media, creative and a series of events that are being planned to promote a new terminal in 2025.   

The award followed a formal review.   

San Diego County Regional Airport Authority was created in 2003 as an independent agency to manage the day-to-day operations of San Diego International Airport. It’s also tasked with addressing the region’s long-term air transportation needs.  

The award continues a win-streak for the agency, with 18 new business awards in as many months, including assignments from Snowbird Resort, Save Our Water, San Francisco Ballet, U.S. Air Force, Prestige Consumer Healthcare and more.  

The agency also recently defended its decade-plus account with San Diego Tourism Authority.   

Several existing clients have also expanded remits with the agency, including Worthington Enterprises and Greater Zion Convention & Tourism Office.
