has chosen Portland, Oregon-based Industry as its lead creative agency.
The assignment was won after a competitive pitch. Budget was not disclosed.
Oved Valadez, Industry ECD, said the agency wants to “create distinction and awareness” as WSS continues its journey beyond 40.

“As a brand that has always celebrated the communities we serve, partnering with Industry allows us to continue building meaningful relationships with our customers, especially within the Latino community, which has been integral to our success," said Henry Rabello, Chief Marketing Officer, WSS.
Industry’s brand work includes Leagues Cup, Converse, Nike and Lego Group.
WSS operates 100+ stores nationwide and was acquired by Foot Locker for $750 million in cash in 2021. The U.S.-based athletic retailer primarily operates on the West Coast.
