Honda's Rose Parade EV Fleet To Make History

Honda is back for its 30th year as the “official vehicle” partner of the Rose Parade, and this year will make history.

The automaker’s "Electrified Dreams" float will be accompanied by a fully electrified vehicle fleet for the first time in the parade’s 136-year history.

Vehicles featured in the event include the new Honda Prologue, the brand's first all-electric SUV; the first all-electric Acura model, the ZDX Type S performance SUV; and Honda Motocompacto, a compact "last mile" e-scooter.

Over 100 of the e-scooters will be used by Rose Parade volunteers throughout the festivities.

The float theme highlights the company's commitment to sustainability and its challenging global goal of zero emissions for all mobility products and business operations by 2050.

“Designed to explore the harmonious interplay between organic and man-made materials with elements that incorporate LED lights and roses, the float highlights the delicate ecosystem shared by all and is symbolic of the company's commitment to preserving the environment for future generations to pursue their dreams,” according to the automaker.

The Honda float will be featured in the 2025 Rose Parade Opening Spectacular with a performance featuring special Xtreme sport athletes and musicians Aloe Blacc and Kiesza.

Honda has partnered with the Tournament of Roses for more than 60 years, and became the Rose Parade's first-ever presenting sponsor in 2011. Every year since the automaker has led the Rose Parade, showcasing the annual event theme.

Honda first collaborated with the Tournament of Roses by providing two-wheeled vehicles for the 1962 Parade. Honda has been a float participant since 1977 and has provided the official Tournament of Roses vehicles since 1994.
