5 Anheuser-Busch Beers Dominate Super Bowl Ads


Anheuser-Busch announced that Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, Bud Light and Stella Artois will bring five commercials to the Super Bowl LIX on February 9.

A-B claims to be this year’s largest Super Bowl advertiser across all beer, alcohol and consumer packaged goods companies.

The company bought three minutes of national ads and 45 seconds of regional ad time.

Kyle Norrington, chief commercial officer, Anheuser-Busch, said: “For our brands to be an essential part of the broadcast, the in-game experience in bars and at-home watch parties across the country is a privilege we do not take lightly.”

Various agencies are responsible for the creative: the 60-second Michelob Ultra, Wieden+Kennedy; 60-second Bud Light, Anomaly; 60-second Stella Artois, Artists Equity Advertising; and 15-second Busch Light regional spot, The Martin Agency. 

The new creative will also appear via national and regional campaigns inclusive of the general market, Spanish language and streaming broadcasts, pre-and post-game activations, integrations at retail and out-of-home placements in key markets.
