On the heels of
Pepsi’s Wild Cherry & Cream launch, Coca-Cola is introducing a new flavor of its own.
In a statement, Coca-Cola described the new Coca-Cola Orange Cream as “Coca-Cola infused
with refreshing orange and smooth, creamy vanilla flavors.”
Coca-Cola focused on the Orange Cream flavor due to its long history dating back over a century, and resurgent interest in the
flavor over the course of the past decade -- citing Google Trends data.
Coca-Cola Orange Cream and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Orange Cream will be available in most national retail locations in the
U.S. and Canada, and online via Coca-Cola’s website, beginning Feb. 10. For launch, the new flavor will be available in 12-packs of 12-oune cans, and 20-ounce bottles, as well as ten-packs of
7.5-ounce mini cans for the version of Coca-Cola Orange Cream with full sugar.

Packaging design for the new product finds a middle ground between leaning into the recognizability of
Coca-Cola’s flagship cola offering and flagging the product as something new. According to a statement from the brand, the packaging was designed in a way that “maintains the classic Coke
Trademark red,” along with the brand logo sitting “toward the top half of the packaging,” supplemented with “citrus-inspired colors overlayed onto the classic red” to
represent “the multidimensional burst of flavors that make up Coca-Cola Orange Cream.”
Coca-Cola will support the launch with a “robust 360 marketing campaign” across a
number of activations, a brand representative told Marketing Daily .
Unlike Pepsi’s Wild Cherry & Cream launch, Coca-Cola’s newest flavor is
not a “permanent” addition to its flavor roster, "but is planned to be in-market until Q1 2026,” a brand representative said. “This timing allows flexibility to evolve our
flavor portfolio as needed, based on ever-changing market trends and consumer preferences. However, this is subject to change.”
The Coca-Cola Orange Cream launch follows
Coca-Cola’s decision last September to discontinue its Coca-Cola Spiced
flavor some seven months after announcing it as a “permanent” flavor.
