GS&F Promotes 2 Execs In Strategy, Business Development

Integrated marketing agency GS&F has promoted two staffers to its executive leadership team.

Ryan Algaier is now vice president, director of business development, and John Anderson is upped to vice president, director of strategy.

Algaier joined Nashville-based GS&F in 2019 as group account director, where he oversaw some of the agency’s largest accounts and led their business planning, brand creative and customer storytelling.

He has nearly 20 years of ad industry experience, including 13-years at WPP.

With eight years of brand strategy experience at GS&F, Anderson has worked in the automotive, building products and hospitality areas.

“Our recent repositioning as an unapologetic champion for ambitious brands is as bold as our provocative approach to the work,” said Gregg Boling, CEO of GS&F. “Ryan and John will both be instrumental in leading us further in the direction of breakthrough strategic partnership and creative innovation.”

These leadership changes follow the appointment of Melvin Strobbe, the agency's executive creative director, in August 2023.

In January, the agency was appointed agency of record for Guthrie's, the 60-year-old franchise and original chicken-finger restaurant.

GS&F's client work also includes Bridgestone Motorcycle, Muserk and Oasis Center.
