Ciffone Expands Creative Role At TBWA\Media Arts Lab


Nick Ciffone has been appointed executive creative director, TBWA\Media Arts Lab, the agency dedicated to Apple.

Based in Los Angeles, he reports to global chief creative officer Brent Anderson.

Prior to this, he was group creative director at the agency for eight years, leading the Emmy-winning 2024 campaign for "Fuzzy Feelings" and the Apple TV+ campaigns "Call Me with Timothée Chalamet" and "Everyone but Jon Hamm."

In his new role, he will continue to lead creative direction for Apple TV+, Mac, iPad and holiday campaigns through 2025.

Before joining Media Arts Lab (MAL), Ciffone worked at agencies such as 72andSunny and TBWA\Chiat\Day. His brand clients includes adidas, ESPN, Google, Gatorade, Miller Lite and Nissan.

In addition, his work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, ADC, Clio Awards, and The Webbys.

"Nick is a one-of-a-kind creative whose work has consistently pushed the boundaries of what's possible," said Brent Anderson, global chief creative officer at MAL.

Added Ciffone: "I love working for a brand and agency where the sole expectation is to create work that impacts culture."

The agency just released its latest Apple ad "Someday" with "Mandalorian" star Pedro Pascal, directed by Spike Jonze. The ad integrates product functionality with human experience. Jonze also collaborated with Apple on the "Welcome Home" ad for the HomePod in 2018.
