Interpublic has appointed Yaniv Sarig to the new role of global head of AI commerce.
Sarig, whom IPG describes as a “seasoned entrepreneur and AI commerce pioneer,” was appointed after working with the company as a consultant. He will continue reporting to global chief commerce strategy officer, Jeriad Zoghby.

In his new role, Sarig will focus on the growing consumer interest in using Gen AI to shop, as 71% of consumers want Gen AI integrated into their shopping experiences, according to new Capgemini research.
Sarig will work with agency and tech leaders across the holding company to develop agentic commerce solutions for clients.
His remit includes integrating data provided by Intelligence Node, which Interpublic acquired last year, into agentic platforms and building partnerships with key players in the commerce ecosystem, including Salsify, Pacvue and Omnicom’s Flywheel. The goal: create a more robust and cohesive suite of commerce solutions for clients.
In 2014 Sarig co-founded and served as CEO of Aterian a technology-driven consumer goods marketplace that built and scaled several multimillion-dollar brands, such as h0me, Vremi, Xtava and RIF6. Product categories include kitchen appliances, beauty products, consumer electronics and more.
"Having built and operated digitally native brands that leveraged data, automation and machine learning to compete effectively, I've seen firsthand how technology can become a key differentiator in winning the digital shelf,” Sariq stated.
