Anyone who’s ever wanted to smell like Mountain Dew -- without the stickiness of bathing in soda -- is now in luck.
Mountain Dew partnered with Blind Barber -- a “community-driven grooming brand” -- to create two limited-edition “Beach Bound” personal care collections, scented to mirror various flavors of the beverage.
The Beach Bound: Refresh Kit features a shampoo bar, body bar, and body lotion whose tropical lime scent is inspired by the brand’s already existing Baja Blast flavor. The Beach Bound: Body Spray Set contains a pair of body sprays, one scented like Baja Blast, the other like Mountain Dew Baja Cabo Citrus, the new flavor with hits of citrus and lime. Both will be available via the Blind Barber website beginning April 16, and on the beverage brand’s TikTok shop on the same day.

Baja Blast Cabo Citrus will be available nationally in 20-ounce bottles and 12-ounce 12-packs -- in both regular and zero sugar varieties -- on April 21.
There’s also a promotional sweepstakes in line with the new flavor’s namesake. The "Tickets for Tickets" sweepstakes has a grand prize of an all-inclusive Cabo San Lucas resort vacation for one winner and four friends.
PepsiCo is making Mountain Dew a priority for 2025, with a particular emphasis on the Baja Blast line it introduced as a full-time offering in 2024 — including once again making Mountain Dew Baja Blast the focus of its Super Bowl campaign for 2025.
“Baja Blast is a big part of our strategy to make Mountain Dew a bigger contributor to our growth in beverages,” PepsiCo CEO Ramon LaGuarta said on a February earnings call with investors. “It's a large franchise. It's almost $1 billion already between our away-from-home and our retail business.”
He added, “We see it is incremental in driving penetration from Mountain Dew with new [customers] -- especially with Gen Z, and especially in parts of the country where our core Mountain Dew [brand] is less developed.”
Mountain Dew introduced a new logo and visual identity last October, anticipating new packaging featuring the refresh that would hit store shelves in May.
