Popsycle Rebrands As Tara Media, Underscores Tech-Enabled Marketing


Popsycle, a data-driven marketing agency that supplies media-buying solutions to agencies, brands and nonprofits, has rebranded as Tara Media.

Founded in 2017, the agency’s ad services includes strategy,  creative design, campaign measurement and attribution, video and animation. It offers programmatic media buying on its owned-and-operated media platform for CTV, OTT, online video, display, audio and native media. There is also a social and DOOH component.

“When we started this company in 2017, the goal was simple — help mission-driven organizations make a bigger impact through smarter digital campaigns. The new Tara Media identity better aligns with additional services we can provide through our holding company, The Tara Group, as well as our sister companies Statara and TargetSmart,” Jeffrey Kaplan, CEO of TARA Media, told Agency Daily.

“Today, our growth is accelerating, and our vision is more streamlined. This rebrand reflects the work we are doing: delivering data-driven, tech-enabled marketing that drives real outcomes for our clients.”

Technology provides more efficient campaign execution and precise targeting, according to Kaplan, optimizing the advertising process for their clients.

Over the past six months, the company said it grew 240%, due to a growing client roster and increased use of its proprietary all-in-one media-buying platform to execute digital campaigns for programmatic advertising.
