'Easy' Living: Staples Highlights Its Business Expertise

Staples is feeling nostalgic.

To commemorate its Easy Button’s 20th anniversary, Staples is bringing it back. The symbol represents the company's decision to help simplify life for customers. In a stressful world, easy matters.

Creative agency Courage is handling out-of-home, paid social, radio and streaming audio ads. Movers+Shakers is responsible for social (Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn) spots, working with influencers such as singer-actor Lance Bass and Kordell Beckham of “Love Island USA.”

Staples’ Easy Button was one of the most iconic brand moments in the past 20 years of advertising history,” Joel Holtby, Co-CCO, Courage Inc, told Agency Daily. “In our partnership with Staples, we knew in bringing it back to the forefront of the brand’s approach for this milestone, the creative would ignite and invigorate conversations about the new products and services that Staples has to offer beyond office and school supplies. We want customers to say, 'hey, I didn't know Staples does that.'”

“This campaign is more than a cultural comeback, it’s a bold reintroduction of the Easy Button and what it represents for consumers and businesses in 2025,” said Amy Steel Vanden-Eykel, Chief Marketing Officer, Staples. “Staples has evolved as a business and as a brand, and we’re excited to share how our team of experts today is making work and life easier than ever before.”
