Vender Blender: Two Email Deliverability Firms Merge

Email deliverability firm mailX has acquired mailwarm, a company specializing in email “warmup” technology.

The terms were not disclosed.

Their combined goal is to help marketing and sales teams, SaaS startups, and e-commerce brands generate ROI from email campaigns, using a full-stack solution, mailX claims.

“With mailwarm now part of mailX, we’re strengthening our ability to help businesses master deliverability from every angle, tools, training, and experts,” says Thami Benjelloun, CEO of mailX.

MailX notes that millions of dollars in revenue are lost each year when emails end up in spam folders.

Mailwarm was founded in 2020, and was part of Y Combinator’s Summer batch that year. It helps email senders build a trusted sender reputation, avoid the spam folder and consistently reach inboxes, the company says.

According to mailX, the combined companies are offering these features:

  • Warmup automation to boost sender reputation
  • Marketplace for booking certified email deliverability experts
  • Email deliverability tools to fix SPF, DMARC, and DKIM configurations
  • Deliverability training and certifications
  • SOS I land in SPAM community
  • A content hub, including blog, newsletter, and podcast

“Email remains the backbone of modern communication,” says Othman Katim, head of sales & marketing at mailX. “With this acquisition, companies will have a single platform to manage, optimize, and scale their email outreach, confidently.”
