Dentsu Expands Sports & Entertainment, Appoints Ise To Lead It

Dentsu announced at Cannes today the global expansion of its Dentsu sports & entertainment offerings, including the international launch of Dentsu anime solutions, the expansion of Dentsu sports analytics into MENA, and the growth of Dentsu sports & entertainment hubs.  

The effort is being led by Yoshinobu Ise, who has been appointed as Dentsu's global head of sports & entertainment. That role is new while he also retains his role as Dentsu's deputy global chief strategy officer.

Dentsu sports & entertainment hubs are in key areas that include Japan, Los Angeles, New York, London, MENA, India, and North Asia, with a total team of 1,200 and nearly 1,300 clients.    

The anime offering includes sales of anime animation content and licensing such as merchandising to broadcasters and streaming platforms among other services.
