According to Stagwell, the SMP team will utilize Stagwell’s technology, tech partnerships and scale to model, forecast and optimize efficiency and outcomes across media, creative and digital transformation services for clients.
A company spokesperson said that every Stagwell agency has access to SMP. “The SMP is not executional on individual client plans. The SMP team leads the global strategic partnerships required for the plans to be enriched and deeper for all clients.”
As for the agentic part of the offering the spokesperson said, “The SMP team has their own agentic enabled systems working across multiple platforms to get the best from the LLM's as they have different strengths and weaknesses. The team connects to the Stagwell tech stack and agency AI planning systems.”
The firm stressed that the offering is not self-service, like some of its cloud-based services. Rather, “it's a team comprised of a suite of talent and tools that all the agencies have the benefit of, regardless of size and scale.”
It was not clear which if any clients had started using the new offering yet. The company said it was not disclosing that information at this time.
