
Consumers will soon be able to buy former Hertz
vehicles on Amazon Autos in select cities.
Shoppers will be able to browse, finance and purchase from a selection of thousands of preowned vehicles from Hertz Car Sales.
Sales will initially begin in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Seattle, with plans to expand to Hertz Car Sales’ 45 locations nationwide.
The partnership marks a
“significant step in Hertz’s broader transformation strategy, which includes forging innovative technology partnerships,” according to the company.
Amazon announced earlier this month is was expanding beyond its initial partnership with
Hyundai selling only new vehicles.

Amazon’s new-car marketplace, which opened in December 2024, currently offers listings in more than 130 cities across the
U.S., according to Marketing Daily. The partnership between Amazon and
Hyundai was first announced in November 2023.
As Amazon Autos'
first fleet dealer, Hertz Car Sales is expanding the available inventory on Amazon Autos to offer a wider selection of vehicles from all brands.
Customers can browse Hertz Car Sales
listings on Amazon Autos, complete their purchase online, and pick up their vehicle at Hertz Car Sales locations.
